“Nurture isn’t just a room. Restorative practice isn’t a set of questions. Kindness isn’t weakness. Exclusion isn’t a behaviour strategy.”
Behaviour specialist, award-winning author,
education reformer, speaker and advisor.
Paul Dix is author of the best selling book ‘When The Adults Change Everything Changes: Seismic Shifts in School Behaviour’. He is founder of Pivotal Education and a founding Member of the TBAP Trust of Alternative Provision Academies for excluded children.
As a teacher, leader and teacher trainer Paul has been working with the most difficult behaviours in the most challenging contexts for the last 27 years. Miraculously Paul studied at Homerton College Cambridge after countless attempts to sabotage his own education.
He is a speaker in high demand engaging huge audiences in practical ways to transform their classrooms, relationships and schools. Paul also works with Leadership Teams to create seismic shifts in culture and behaviour.
Now working independently Paul is writing a new book due out in Spring 2021 with Crown House and Independent Thinking. He works internationally on Behaviour, Culture and School Reform and Tweets on @PaulDixTweets
