Positive noticing is a
beautiful thing
The 16th November is Positive Noticing Day. A chance for schools to get involved in peer to peer positive noticing.
Positive noticing has a practical impact. Sincere and genuine recognition between pupils encourages better behaviour. It draws out the good stuff and reflects it back. The labels that they give each other will be kept, often treasured. In schools where we have trialled it many children are seen wearing their labels days after the exercise. Many children begin to reflect their positive labels and in a very practical sense you get more of the behaviour that you notice most.
We would love you to join in with the day. It is easy to take part and won’t disrupt learning.
